Sorry for the delay - my username was chosen for the first HP fansite I joined, Chamber of Secrets Forums. I made it up on the spot after I discovered "Crookshanks" was already taken, mostly because I like a bit of wordplay. Still, I'm exceptionally fond of it, and probably identify more as Shaggy than I do by my real name.

Yes, I'd never written down before, despite ours of daydreaming. (Although, given the ratio of "hours daydreaming" to "actual writing" the difference in my behaviour is negligible, sad to say.)
