Apple pie with roses, if you haven't seen it over at my tumblr already. Possibly the most beautiful and mouth-watering thing I've seen all year.

Oh, that is amazing! It took me several seconds to see that the roses were made of apples.

Now I need to figure out if I can convince anyone to try to make this (I am not a great baker.)

Isn't it amazing? I often look at baked goods and think they look better than they taste--eg. fondant--but the apple skins would just add to this one. M.
