Nothing better than moving for really thinking through what's necessary. We've also become much better about passing along not-totally-necessary books now that we've found a local library that sells used books for fundraisers and a little free library nearby (do you have those in your part of the world--little cabinets to put out in your front yard, leave a book, take a book?).
