Severus, Mum, Lucius, Lily, Avery, Wilkes

When the boys broke the shop windows, or the neighbor got a bike, or a notice came in the post, Mum would always say, "We have magic in our blood, Severus. That's what truly matters."
Little did she know.
"My aunt married a Prince," Lucius said. "Are you related to Gaius Prince?"
"You’ve never been on broom?" Wilkes asked.
"Slug Club tonight, have you heard?" Lily asked.
"What kind of wand is that?" It was Avery, admiring, after Severus Transfigured his pincushion.
"B-b-b-"
But the "B" in "Birch with dragon heartstring" lodged in his throat.
Better to frown, instead.
