I'm trying so hard to have a good attitude about the season, Y. Colors, leaves, beautiful afternoon light...but really I'm just waiting for summer again. :) Hope you're enjoying your fall! M.

I love these gingko trees. They're stinky and messy (the ground's littered with their pods), but oh! the yellows. Happy autumn, D! M.

I feel the same way about the chestnut trees here. They're a menace - I have been both conked on the head by a, well, conker, and nearly felled stepping on one - but darned if they don't make for a beautiful autumn scene when the leaves turn yellow.
